Drawings Part 2

Hello.
Let me tell you a little snippet about myself. My comfort zone is sitting down drawing. With Beautiful Epic Music in my ears. There.
As promised, a second lot of drawings. For some reason which I cannot fathom, a few of my drawings come out sepia and others don't. It's very strange. If anyone can tell me why, please do so. :)

My first drawing of of Mum. I love her to bits. She's one of my best friends, as well as a really great Mum. I can't express in words how you mean to me, Mum... I love you.

Brave, awesome person... with a beautiful smile! :D
This is copied off of "Breakfast in Bed" by Mary Cassat.

The next one, I wanted it to be almost out a fairytale... not sure what to call it though. :)

I didn't like it really, but people who I showed it to seemed to! :)
This is the Afghan girl, copied off a photo by Steve McCurry
I hope you enjoyed them!

Drawings Part 1

Dear everyone, I just want you to know, I don't only take photos. I draw, too. So here are a few of mine, old and new.
First of all, I just want to point out that I used the camera for the drawings because our scanner doesn't work very well.
I'll start with Mum. She has been my muse for a long time, maybe because she's the only one in my family who actually sits still long enough for a portrait. Here are three portraits of her with varying degrees of skill... (I don't know when I drew them, I could have been 11-14)

Nice crease through the middle, eh?

This one's an old one, evidently! :)

For some reason, the next drawing came out sepia... strange! Oh well.
This one is copied off of the Potato Eaters by Vincent van Gogh. It took me ages to finish this one!

Don't you love the moody lighting and the potato features on the people?
Here are some fruits for you! :) Drawn more recently, with charcoal and grey paper.

Here's a lovely eagle. Not my best, but it'll have to do. :)
Pen and ink; fun to draw with but unforgiving!
There you have it.
I'll probably give you another installment of my drawings later, but for now, toodle-oo!
