Photos on a Sunday Afternoon

On Sunday my family and I went to a pro-life meeting and near the building there were beautiful flowers begging to have their photos taken. I couldn't resist (also I incidentally had my camera with me)!
I love nasturtium. You can eat it and it looks simply gorgeous.

I think the focus on the next one is cool. ?

This photo makes me think of poppies.
"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below..."
I didn't even have to look that up. Aren't I clever. :)

The colors on the next one are lovely, I think.

A Book and Pizza

This term for Co-op we did Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice. I took these photos a little while ago. Thought I'd share them. :)

Caleb, Isaac and I went to the park early in the morning this morning and played soccer, handball, basketball, catch, the like for 2 hours. It was quite fun! Unfortunately I have no photos of that.

This evening we - Irene, Caleb, Isaac and I - made pizza, and I do have photos of us eating it! We had a great time. We also had the temporary excitement of our oven being on fire! I guess it short-circuited?  But anyway, when we turned it off it wouldn't stay off. It smoked a bit and had a bit of flame. That's all. We made the rest of the pizzas in our kind neighbours' oven. They tasted delicious!

P.S. Nearly the holidays!! :D

Little Brother

This afternoon before karate Isaac asked me to go on the tramp with him, so I obliged. I figured, it's not everyday you have enough time to spend with your little bro! so why not. Maybe I should do this more often. He's a great kid who has a lot of imagination and energy (*cough* when he doesn't have to do dishes *cough*). I brought my camera. Got some interesting faces, and had fun turning into dragons and ants.
